Purchased a new construction home in 2019 from Couto Homes and have been very happy with our decision. Jim was our project manager, and even though the house was nearly completed when we purchased it, Jim was very helpful in answering any and all questions. We had an issue with the concrete driveway that ended up not being repairable, and Couto Homes agreed to replace the entire driveway. Overall, a very positive experience.

My husband and I cannot begin to say how happy we are with our experience with Couto Homes. One of the things we liked most about choosing Couto Homes as our builder was that they offered copies of floor plans to different style homes that they build and a price list that showed the approximate cost of each home. We could then pick the floor plan that best suited our needs and customize with ease. We built our Couto home in 2020 and we have nothing but positive things to say about Couto. After reading many reviews, watching testimonials, visits to model homes and viewing homes under construction, we decided several years ago that Couto would build our forever home. Our primary objective was to have a beautiful quality-built home and we were not disappointed. Because we chose, Couto, a prominent custom home builder, we were able to choose features that make our home unique and perfect for us. Making so many choices was almost overwhelming. However, because Couto has a very orderly process and extremely talented people, it was enjoyable. We found a Couto lot near Weatherford that was perfect for us. Gerrico was very professional, and extremely helpful with getting things started. She was always very prompt in responding to our many questions and arranged for us to attend a design workshop followed by a home specialist meeting. Josh, our Home Specialist, was instrumental in guiding us to what would be the perfect floor plan to fit our needs and desires. We were very impressed with his knowledge and experience that insured it was a smooth and orderly process. A special thanks to James, our CAD designer as well. Both he and Josh had some awesome suggestions that we are very pleased with. Shawna, our Design Specialist was very knowledgeable and professional and guided us through our selection process. She arranged for visits to various vendors and guided us through additional selections in their impressive design studio. It was truly a pleasure working with her and we are very pleased with the selections we made with her skillful guidance. A special thanks to Randy for reviewing the final plans and helping us select the perfect site for our home. We then worked with Jim, our Sr. Product Manager throughout the construction process. We can not say enough about Jim and his professionalism and attention to detail. Because we did not live in the area, we depended on him to keep us updated and address any questions we had. He was always very quick to respond when we reached out and he posted photos in the Couto Build Tools App so we could see the progress. If we noticed any issues, he was very quick to react and address them. He also kept tabs on the day-to-day work being done and would not hesitate to have things redone if they did not meet his standards. Because of his oversight our home was completed in only 7 months. With all the supply chain issues throughout all industries at the time, this was very impressive. Though the home was completed almost 3 months ago, we can still reach out to him with any questions we may have and he is always very responsive and helpful. Jim is a true professional who is very skilled at his job, and we greatly appreciate his dedication which insured we now have the home we dreamt of. We would also like to acknowledge the other professionals at Couto that helped behind the scenes, and they have our gratitude.

What a beautiful product!! Building a home can be an extremely emotional and stressful process and this wasn’t our experience. Anything I questioned or had doubt about , my PM Clint made right and assured me it would be taken care of. And it was. I really can’t imagine going through this process with anyone else. We made the move from Florida to Granbury, TX 10 months ago when we moved into our new custom home by Couto Homes. Aside from one visit to the Couto Homes amazing design center to make all of the selections for our new home, we experienced our new home build entirely, from an empty lot to our completed new home REMOTELY! We could not have done this without the professionalism and expertise of our Couto Homes project manager Michael Morales and senior project manager Randy McGuffy who were assigned to us. They both went above and beyond our expectations. We received weekly and sometimes daily updates with photos and videos as our team built our home. Every aspect of our experience with Couto Homes was positive, pleasant and professional beginning with our home specialist and design specialist in the design center who helped us design our new home exactly how we envisioned. We were amazed at what comes standard and how many options are available to truly customize your new home. The vendors used by Couto Homes were all top notch. Again, very professional, hard working and conscientious of their work while maintaining excellent quality. We found this in every aspect of our build. Three vendors in particular stood out during our construction. Our brick masons, Tony and crew were impeccable, absolutely beautiful brick and stonework. Luxury Trim provided gorgeous custom trim work throughout our home and were meticulous with every detail. Our tile work was beautifully done, details were perfection. We trusted Michael, our project manager implicitly to oversee the entire process of building our new home. IF an issue came up, ( in our case some supply availability issues ) he communicated with us immediately and we resolved together and avoided any delays in construction. We saw our new home for the first time in person only days before we closed and took ownership. We couldn’t have been happier. As with all new homes, there are always some little thing that needs addressed after move in and Couto Homes was quickly on the spot to take care of any and all issues. Once the warranty period kicked in, we used the warranty procedures put into place on the Couto website and it has worked seamlessly and smoothly. Randy took full charge and has stayed on top of every warranty issue that needed addressed during this time. We are almost through our first year and we can now say that we are so impressed with the quality of our new home from the workmanship and materials which meet the highest expectations to the excellent customer service. The structure is sound and very well insulated standing up to the Texas weather. We have a quality built home that will stand the test of time. We sure hope this our last home, but if we every do build again, we would not hesitate to work with Couto Homes. After doing extensive research on home builders, we stumbled upon Couto Homes! My husband and I fell in love with their beautiful custom homes. I’ve spent countless hours playing along with their interactive floor plans on their website. We decided to get more information and walked in on a random Monday morning and spoke with their fabulous customer service rep (at the time), Gerrico. Gerrico sat us down and went over the included features, pricing, showed us their awesome online client portal. After saying we were interested; she set up an appointment with our Home Specialist, Alden Couto! Alden was and IS incredible! He listened to our requests on changing the Glenwood floor plan. Alden and Stacey helped A LOT with our issues regarding permits, surveys, and etc. They were very patient and eager to help with anything! We were assigned to Hanna, our amazing Design Specialist. She helped us with all of our selections which were paint colors, flooring, carpet, tile, you name it! I’d recommend having a Pinterest board before you have your selection meeting! If not, you’ll feel a little lost but that’s not a problem, Hanna will be by your side to help you with everything! Once, we had the green light on proceeding on breaking ground, we were assigned to our phenomenal Project Manager, Scott! Scott made sure everything went smoothly on the construction project. His attention to detail was outstanding! Scott updated us with weekly reports and would update the online Client Portal with pictures frequently! He was very professional and proficient! Quick to respond our text messages, as well. Couto Homes is very lucky to have him on their team! What a blessing to start the new year with a stunning home! We are so thrilled to move in! We did quite a bit of research, having been through the building process before in a different state. The Staff at Couto (Gerrico, Josh, Mariah, and Dillon) were totally professional, attentive, and responded to all our questions and concerns with alacrity. My wife had supplied a folder full of ideas for finishes, and Mariah delivered like a mind reader. Dillon, as project manager, was effective and detail-oriented without fail, always making sure we were satisfied with the work as it was being done. Choosing a company to build the home you’ve been dreaming of for 20 years is not a task to be taken lightly. What first lead us to Couto was what we found right here on Google…a nearly 5 star rating. We then talked to other builders and spoke with people who had built both with Couto and with others… and kept just coming back to Couto. We actually had 2 other local builders tell us that with our budget and what we were looking to build, Couto was the way to go for high quality workmanship and no cutting corners, while staying in budget. Building a home during a pandemic, labor and material shortages, and some of the largest cost increases in history is hard. I mean really hard…. I would be lying if I said every moment of the journey was easy and fun. But, the communication, level of customer service, and dealing with a staff who seem to have really cared about us as people (not just a construction project) was definitely what made the process with Couto enjoyable and exciting! Couto allowed us to make so many changes and customizations to the floorplan and finishes to suit how we live, that our home is almost not recognizable as the original standard floorplan that we chose. THAT was important to us, because we would have NEVER found a house just like this one. We love all of the special touches and attention to detail in our home- from the energy efficiency steps taken during construction, to the beautiful light fixtures, custom designed front door and wood accents that are NOT upgrades…we just love the finished project more than we even anticipated. It basically has everything we ever wanted in our home! To Rob and Josh, Shawna and Brittany, Gerrico and Chelsea, Randy and Luke, and especially Collin, THANK YOU for helping us see our dream come true (I know many others touched our project…but these are the ones we worked with directly). This is our forever home so we will likely never build again, but if we did, we’d call y’all first!

We purchased our Couto built home four years ago. We love the home and have had no issues whatsoever! It is very well constructed and the craftsmanship is evident in every detail. A few days ago I noticed a small plumbing issue which was very likely weather related. I emailed Couto Homes on Sunday afternoon (January 29th) with a question. I received a very comprehensive response this morning (Wednesday February 1st). Not only was my question answered, but they included applicable construction photos of our actual home in their response. They also included other useful contact information. Within four hours, my issue was 100% resolved! Couto Homes are fantastic and their customer service is outstanding! A VERY Satisfied Customer!

I just toured a new home built by Couto Homes, and I have to say, I was absolutely amazed. From the moment I walked in, I could tell that this wasn’t just any house—it was something special. The attention to detail is incredible. You can see the quality in everything, from the flooring to the light fixtures. It’s clear that Couto Homes puts a lot of care into their work. The layout of the home was really well thought out. The rooms flow beautifully, making it feel both spacious and cozy at the same time. The kitchen, in particular, really stood out to me. It’s not just stylish but also super functional, with plenty of counter space and high-end appliances that any home cook would love. What really struck me was how much the home felt like a place I’d want to live in. It’s hard to describe, but there’s just a warmth and comfort to it that you don’t always find. Couto Homes did an amazing job from day one helping us pick out, design, make changes, give opinions, work with us patiently and build our very first home. Joey was our contractor and within the first week became our very good friend. Meetings out at the build site weren’t just to talk about how the house was coming along. Joey would ask us how we were doing and we would have good conversations about totally different things. The way he treated us made us feel very comfortable about asking him to do certain things and change certain things we didn’t like about our build. Anything we asked him, he would get it done and his crew wouldn’t waste any time doing it. It almost seems like he was building the house for himself. Our home is now almost 5 years old and is still just as beautiful as it was the first day we moved in. I am very pleased with the workmanship and the quality of our Couto home. We were told about Couto Homes from a friend and they could not say enough nice things about how they were treated during their building process. Let me tell you, in this world right now of waiting for materials, windows, doors, etc… we have not had the problems that other home builders have. We have been so delighted with everyone there! Gerrico welcomed us with open arms and helped us with all the questions on the front end! She is excellent at her job and we came in to the whole process with a smile because of G. Then, of course Chelsea swooped in and befriended us and was the absolute best at keeping us (and the whole world) informed with marketing pictures, email blasts and the best social media around. Chelsea is always posting about a blood drive, picking up trash on the highway, & decorating the Christmas tree on the Granbury square. The Couto employees do this together. We love that! We really loved attending the design events for new clients. They served wine and charcuterie while taking us around their showroom so we could look at all our design options going forward. It was so much fun not only seeing our possible selections but possibly meeting new neighbors! And then we met Brittany. Mic drop! We love her so, so much! She is not only talented at what she does, but she keeps us abreast of the latest information and shoots it straight to us. We appreciate that more than she will ever know! Couto really does a great job at hiring! We also have had the pleasure of meeting and talking to Zeke several times. He is very present at the office and is a joy to speak with. All I can say about Zeke is that he truly cares about making our new home what we want. Speaking of people who care, our project manager, Ed, is the best. Period! He truly cares about making us happy and he has said from day one that this is our house and he wants it to be what we want. We always ask him for advice and he gives it but he always ends with “This is your home.” On many occasions, Ed has come to the rescue and done beyond his call of duty for us. Thank you, Ed! Our home is more than halfway completed and although we will be thrilled to moved in, I will be sad not talking to these experts daily! They will certainly get a happy hour invitation!
